How Google works with Electronic Books ... or the difference between FTHumanEvolutionCourse, Google Books and Wikipedia ...

Google books generally offers partial browsing to some books.

We include here an example of source code:

<!DOCTYPE html "-//W3C//DTD XHTML 1.0 Strict//EN"
"http://www.w3.org/TR/xhtml1/DTD/xhtml1-strict.dtd">
<html xmlns="http://www.w3.org/1999/xhtml">
<head>
<meta http-equiv="content-type" content="text/html; charset=utf-8"/>
<title>Google Book Search Embedded Viewer API Example</title>
<script type="text/javascript" src="http://www.google.com/jsapi"></script>
<script type="text/javascript">
google.load("books", "0");

function initialize() {
var viewer = new google.books.DefaultViewer(document.getElementById('viewerCanvas'));
viewer.load('ISBN:0821838172');
}

google.setOnLoadCallback(initialize);
</script>
</head>
<body>
<div id="viewerCanvas" style="width: 600px; height: 1000px"></div>
</body>
</html>

Please note the ISBN number: ISBN:0821838172, as well the Canvas size: style="width: 600px; height: 1000px".

This work with AJAX and Javascript libraries to produce a browse book.

Click here to get the example.

You can write this code, change the ISBN as well the View Size and see another book.

The difference with our FTHumanEvolutionCourse, is that our course is designed, maintained and developed by a single people.

We offer full books, generally, not partial view. We don't need to develop an entire new library. We simply expect that the users have the appropriate plug-in installed. This may be Adobe Reader or DJVU plug-in.

We use Wikipedia and actually we don't have a blog, because actually we are offering single tips and no course had been started.

However, we offer more concise and precise matters. We offer complete mathematical proof, as well planes and maps for projects. We are involved in what we do, not just releasing tips.

Our approach is not encyclopedic but training or course like to support Web students.

These are the various difference. Of course we feel to be able to compete with Wikipedia and Google Books.

... There are another component that most of our tips comes from the family of Light ... and this is really unique and innovative.

Stay tuned.

Thanks,

Giovanni A. Orlando.
